With two decades of performance, choreography, and teaching experience, the Boston, MA native began dancing at the age of 14, training in various styles. Represented by Bloc Talent Agency, Cooks has collaborated with esteemed choreographers such as Rhapsody James, Laurieann Gibson, Luam, Kyle Hanagami, Rich & Tone, Danielle Flora, Nappy Tabs, and Charm La’Donna.

As a choreographer, Cooks has toured globally with Ice Spice for the Y2K World Tour and her Coachella 2024 performance, as well as with Grammy Award winning superstar Cardi B on The Underestimated Tour. He has also choreographed for artists such as David Guetta, J Balvin, Bebe Rexha, Meek Mill, and Yo Gotti, and served as the assistant choreographer for Kelly Rowland and Lizzo. His choreography has been featured in national commercial campaigns for BET, Coach and GAP, as well as at the Kids’ Choice Awards, the MTV Music Video Awards, the BET Awards Aftershow, Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, America’s Got Talent, The Today Show, Good Morning America, NBC’s Blindspot and Netflix’s Dance 100.

As a professional dancer, Cooks has worked with global icons including Big Sean, Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj, Ne-Yo, Flo Rida, Kendrick Lamar, Prince Royce, Hailee Steinfeld, Halsey, and Dua Lipa.

As an educator, Cooks has taught in 20 countries, including Japan, South Korea, China, Germany, France, Argentina, Spain, Canada, South Africa, Switzerland, and Italy, in addition to teaching at New York City’s Broadway Dance Center and Los Angeles’ Millennium Dance Complex.
